Older DLP TV worked flawlessly over the years. I bought the latest model is looking for new technologies that include 3D, more vivid colors, more powerful lamps and more. I also purchased a base made by Mitsubishi, which complements the TV set is very beautiful. My speakers are about the same depth as the television, which makes them even beautiful. To play 3D-movies, I bought a Panasonic DMP-BDT100P 3D Blu-Ray player and a set of Mitsubishi 3D, which includes 2 sets of glasses, emitter cable and HDMI. For sound, I use two 7.1 year old receiver attached to the player using the optical cable. New receivers get audio and video connection via HDMI. Amazon.com made the delivery of excellent and timely.
